Nothing can be better than to know that you have introduced and shared with a grandchild, niece, nephew, or friend's child your passion for tea.
Of course, I must remember that my grandson, Ilia, is only 23 months old so he probably will not remember us having a pretend Christmas Tea but my plans are to reinforce our tea times as often as possible building until the day we can enjoy a special cup of Pu'erh, Matcha, or Phoenix Oolong together.
Searching for the perfect tea set for a little boy can be challenge. Most tea sets are packaged in a cute little basket packed in pink fabric, with flowers and breakable. Not exactly what a healthy happy little guy can appreciate. After a long search, we found a wooden, natural colored tea set that is just perfect for little hands on Amazon. Everything was included, a tea pot, two cups with saucers, two spoons, a sugar bowl, a cream pitcher and even down to two small wooden tea bags. It is absolutely just adorable.
Imagines my excitement when later on Christmas Day Ilia went to his Tea Table and announced "Tea!" Just that one little word from that little man made my entire holiday.
Special memories are made from very small happenings.
